Abstract

The study analyzes the state of the machine-building industry. For the domestic economy is difficult to overestimate, this industry has an impact on many economic sectors, transportation, economic, energy and others. Since the transition to a market economy, significant changes have occurred in the machine-building industry in Russia. Within the framework of this research the dynamics of the industry development and the directions of development of machine-building enterprises, as well as the peculiarities of the machine-building industry functioning have been analyzed. As a result of the research, the main problems hindering the development of the machine-building industry of the country have been revealed.
