Abstract
The article examines the impact of smart city technologies on the socio-eco-nomic well-being of citizens. The purpose of the study is to analyze digital technologies such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and big data, and their impact on the urban envi-ronment. The ways of improving the quality of life through digitalization are analyzed.
Research methods include the study of scientific literature and practical examples of the introduction of smart technologies in urban management. The main conclusions point to the improvement of urban infrastructure, increased safety, reduction of congestion and pollution, which contribute to an increase in the level of socio-economic well-being of urban residents. The problems of digital inequality and data privacy are noted.
The work is based on an integrated approach to assessing the socio-economic effects of smart cities, including the use of big data and digital platforms to monitor the well-being of citizens.
