Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the application of permanent magnet synchronous generators (PMSG) in wind power plants. The key advantages of using PMSG are considered, including high efficiency, low operating costs and improved reliability. The article also analyzes the design features of PMSG, their behavior in various wind flow modes and the economic feasibility of their implementation. Examples of successful projects where PMSG are used in practice are presented, and prospects for further development of the technology are discussed.
