Abstract
The purpose of the study is to develop mechanisms for managing the labor, financial and logistical resources available to the university for carrying out scientific activities, providing infor-mation about the human resources potential of scientific research and selecting employees to form the most effective scientific team for the implementation of each scientific project. Research methods include the method of critical analysis of scientific publications, content analysis, comparison, and systematiza-tion. Mechanisms have been developed to determine the amount of funding for scientific projects, taking into account indicators of macroeconomic performance and an indicator related to the use of the results of work obtained within the framework of previous research conducted by the project manager and re-search team. The criteria for the creation of Centers for the collective use of scientific equipment and the transfer of high-tech expensive equipment to them and their acquisition by qualified personnel to meet the needs of various projects, in order to optimize the cost of purchasing material and technical resources for scientific projects, in particular, equipment, are substantiated.
