Abstract
As the economic development of our country has entered a new stage, the rate of economic growth has begun to slow down, and the traditional comparative advantage in the form of a sufficient number of workers does not meet the requirements of the country’s economic development and industrial transformations. More and more attention is being paid to investments in human capital as an indispensable and important element of economic development. In accordance with the main trend of human capital research, from the point of view of heterogeneous human capital, this article examines the history of the development of modern theory of human capital, analyzes relevant studies of various types of human capital related to economic growth and industrial modernization, and provides a brief overview.
