Abstract

In 2023, the “Scientific Library” published a monograph by Professor of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Doctor of Military Sciences, Professor “Comprehensive Partnership and Strategic Interaction. Implementation of the Import Substitution Potential in the Economy of the Russian Federation by the People’s Republic of China”. The monograph presents the author’s methodology for assessing import substitution opportunities in Russia and examines the possibilities for Russia to replace with imports from China what it loses as a result of Western economic sanctions, as well as the possibilities of investment cooperation with China. With the automation of the proposed methodology and its wide testing on materials from Russia’s trade with various countries, it can become a tool for macroeconomic analysis for government agencies when developing policies and helping the market.
