Abstract
Artificial intelligence and intellectual education lead to innovations in education and teaching, which has become an inevitable trend in the development of informatization of education. With the advent of big data in education, the question of how to analyze large amounts of data to ensure accurate predictions has become a new topic faced in the era of artificial intelligence. As an important branch of artificial intelligence, machine learning can meet the needs of big data analysis and forecasting in education. To this end, based on a number of questions such as “why analyze, what to analyze, how to analyze and how to apply”, through the analysis of objects, processes, specific methods and stakeholders of machine learning, this article examines the essence of machine learning.
