Abstract

The article is devoted to identifying specific manifestations of empathy in primary school students depending on parental educational attitudes. Empathy is seen as a social emo-tion that manifests itself in interpersonal relationships. A brief analysis of domestic and foreign literature on the problem of the influence of child-parent relationships and educational attitudes in the family on the formation of empathy in primary school age is presented. The results of an empirical study are described, reflecting the manifestations of empathy in primary schoolchil-dren in families with different parental educational attitudes and different types of parent-child relationships.
