Abstract

The article presents the results of a study on the features of assertive behavior among sixth-grade students. Additionally, the article includes a description of the implementa-tion of a program aimed at developing assertive behavior in adolescents, highlighting the princi-ples, conditions, and stages of psychological work focused on enhancing the confidence and ability of teenagers to assert their rights and interests, resolve conflict situations, and defend themselves against manipulations in interpersonal relationships. The program demonstrated ef-fectiveness in developing assertiveness, improving emotional self-regulation, and strengthening interpersonal relationships, underscoring the importance of incorporating such initiatives into educational practice.
