Abstract
The article examines the problem of speech breathing formation in senior pre-school children with dysarthria. The authors analyze the results of the ascertaining experiment proving that correct speech breathing is a necessary link in speech therapy work to overcome dysarthria. The data presented in the article convincingly prove that well-developed physiological and speech breathing not only increases the effectiveness of speech disorder correction, but also contributes to the overall health of the child, his development. The methodological recommen-dations for conducting correctional and pedagogical work proposed in the article can be used by teachers - speech therapists, defectologists, educators and parents in the process of speech de-velopment of preschoolers in class and free time.
