Abstract

The article actualizes the problem of the formation of technological competence of future teachers of vocational education institutions. Technological competence is understood as the possession by future teachers of vocational training of a system of knowledge, skills and values for solving a set of pedagogical tasks similar in content using the most effective educa-tional technologies. This is a certain integrative professional property that allows, through the use of a complex of knowledge, skills and abilities, to achieve the desired result – effective and useful for society pedagogical activity in vocational education institutions. Technological compe-tence is formed in the process of transition from one level of acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, experience by future teachers of vocational education institutions to another. At each of these levels (empirical, theoretical, algorithmic and creative), it is possible to assess the degree of formation of students' technological competence according to the following criteria (dedication, creativity, manufacturability, optimality, productivity) and corresponding indicators. It was found out that important factors for the effective formation of technological competence of future teachers of vocational education institutions are: firstly, digitalization of the educational process, which simplifies educational and organizational tasks; accessibility to a wide range of educa-tional and professional content; development of practical skills in a safe environment; implemen-tation of educational analytics and monitoring of educational achievements of applicants educa-tion , etc .; Secondly, active research activities that contribute to the deepening of acquired and creation of new knowledge in the field of professional pedagogy and methods of vocational train-ing.
