Abstract
The article raises the question of the need to use a spatial digital twin of the region. It has been established that the advantages of using the spatial digital twin of the region are: integrated planning and management of regional development, rapid response to emergen-cies and risk management, improving the quality of life and sustainable development of the re-gion, improving the efficiency of decision-making, the development of new technologies and in-novations. The challenges of using the spatial digital twin of the region are systematized. Based on the structural approach, the concept of a spatial digital twin of the region is proposed, which, unlike the existing ones, is structured by levels and allows you to digitally display the state of objects, transport and energy infrastructure in real time and manage them.
