Abstract

Based on the analysis of the works of Russian scientists in the retrospective and modern periods of the development of law and economics, the article examines the organizational and legal aspects of the content of the competence of a public administration body. The factors identified by the author are given, which determine the need to adapt the content of the competence of a public administration body to modern conditions. In particular, the need to review the content of the competence of public administration bodies, taking into account activities in «special conditions»; the formation of new managerial elites; application of artificial intelligence technologies in the field of public administration. The author’s definition of the competence of a public administration body is given, the types and characteristics of its elements are given.
