Abstract
The purpose of the study is to analyze the impact of grant mechanisms on the formation and development of scientific personnel in the Russian Federation. The authors applied a systematic approach to the study, including content analysis of scientific literature, statistical analysis of data on the dynamics of grant support for the period 2015-2023, as well as the study of cases of such grant programs as grants from the President of the Russian Federation, the Russian National Fund and the Russian Foundation for Basic Research. The approach made it possible to assess the quantitative and qualitative aspects of the impact of the grant system on the scientific community. The main results of the study show that the grant support system contributes to the growth of the number of ongoing scientific projects, the integration of young scientists into the research environment and the strengthening of scientific potential. However, problems have been identified related to the uneven distribution of resources, the complexity of application procedures and the lack of transparency of selection mechanisms. The peculiarity of the work is to consider the role of grants as a financial and strategic tool that contributes to the sustainable development of science.
