Abstract

In recent decades, there has been a tendency towards the integration of economic and social sciences in educational systems, which is due to their interrelation and importance for a full understanding of modern society. In the context of a dynamically changing labor market, it is important to train specialists who possess not only professional, but also social and economic competencies, which emphasizes the need to implement a competency-based approach to teaching. This approach focuses on project and case methods that allow students to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, develop critical thinking and analytical skills. Research shows that project-based learning increases student engagement and improves their academic performance. The established relationships between economic and social factors highlight the need for an integrated approach to learning. In conclusion, it can be noted that effective training of future specialists requires a revision of traditional teaching methods with an emphasis on interdisciplinarity, which will create conditions for the formation of proactive and competent professionals capable of coping with modern challenges.
