Abstract
The article examines the impact of globalization on the development of regional economies, focusing on the economic, technological and cultural aspects of this process. The key factors contributing to the successful integration of regions into global processes, as well as barriers that slow down the development of individual territories, are identified. Particular atten-tion is paid to the problem of economic inequality between regions, the role of innovation, tech-nology transfer and environmental challenges of globalization. Based on the analysis, recom-mendations are proposed for the adaptation of regional economies to global changes and the formation of sustainable development strategies.
