Abstract

The fourth industrial revolution, which is based on the large-scale use of digital solutions systems, is forcing the transformation of the usual and familiar methods of project management. In Russia, these changes have a significant impact not only on industrial organizations, but also on the agricultural sector. With the growth of the planet's population, there is a growing demand for products of plant and animal origin. To manage such volumes of consumption, it is necessary to master technologies that are capable of processing and classifying arrays of information at a given time. The use of project management practices, which are generally recognized as standards of doing business, is now accompanied by the use of artificial intelligence and digital tools. This paper examines the current transformation of management processes in the Russian agroindustrial complex and assesses its digital maturity, the degree of implementation of technologies of the new wave of the industrial revolution in the context of project management, which allows to formulate recommendations for the development of the theory and practice of the project approach in agriculture.
