Abstract

The article examines theoretical and practical aspects of assessing the impact of social capital on the effectiveness of the human resource management system of modern companies. Scientific approaches to defining social capital are studied, the author’s position on the essence of this concept is presented, key indicators of social capital and its substantial characteristics are identified. Based on empirical research methods, an assessment of the impact of social capital on the formation and development of human resources in companies in the oil and gas sector and financial services was carried out using correlation and regression analysis tools. Based on the analysis, it was concluded that social capital plays a significant role in the human resource management system of modern high-tech companies, allowing owners to receive significant benefits in the form of increased productivity, improved corporate culture and increased innovative activity. Based on the analysis, specific practical recommendations were formulated to increase the level of social capital of modern companies focused on long-term sustainable development.
