Abstract
This article explores the role of civil society in ensuring cyber security by analyzing the opportunities and mechanisms of participation of public organizations and citizens in the formation and implementation of policy in this area. The purpose of the study is to determine the potential of civil society in improving cybersecurity. The objectives of the study include analyzing existing forms of civil society participation, identifying barriers, and developing recommendations for optimizing the interaction between the state and civil society. The research identifies key areas of civil society participation, such as educational initiatives, monitoring and reviewing legislation, and developing recommendations to improve cyber literacy. The practical significance of the work lies in the possibility of using the findings to develop strategies to engage civil society in cybersecurity.
