Abstract

This article reveals the essence and influence of social inequality in the activities of any economic entity on a global scale. Undoubtedly, the topic of the chosen study, unfortunately, even in the era of rapid development and prosperity of the modern economy, does not lose its relevance and acts as one of the global problems of the modern world. After all, as world practice shows, to this day there is no state that would fully cope with the solution of this problem within its territory. Accordingly, the fundamental task of any country is the fight against social inequality by developing the necessary measures that can solve this problem. In the course of revealing the essence of the topic of our research, we identified both the main problems contributing to social inequality and some ways that can solve it. After all, the economic growth and development of any state, as well as labor productivity and competitiveness in the world arena, are directly dependent on the phenomenon of our research. Thus, having generalized all that has been said, we can conclude that social inequality acts as a certain form of social stratification, in which different layers of society are in unequal conditions of existence and have unequal access to the benefits of society.
At the same time, it is important to understand that this social inequality can manifest itself in completely different areas of life, in particular, cover the economic, political, cultural, informational, gender sphere. In connection with this, the importance of searching for methods to combat the phenomenon of our study increases.
