Abstract

In the context of globalization and consolidation of international business, the problem of cross-cultural management is becoming especially relevant. Multinational companies are faced with the need to organize effective management of teams consisting of representatives of different cultures, which is associated with a number of serious difficulties. The article examines the theoretical foundations of cross-cultural management and the main difficulties faced by companies in a multicultural environment. Particular attention is paid to strategic approaches and solutions that allow overcoming cultural barriers and using cultural diversity as a source of competitive advantages. Examples from the practice of international corporations are given, demonstrating the role of culture in management decisions. It is concluded that successful cross-cultural management requires the implementation of a comprehensive methodical approach, including the development of cultural competence of managers, adaptation of corporate culture and organization of specialized training programs for personnel.
