Abstract

Domestic tourism is a priority area for tourism development in Russia. This article analyzes the current state of domestic tourism in Russia, examines existing trends, identifies the most pressing issues, and assesses future prospects. The article considers factors influencing the popularity of various tourist destinations, analyzes the infrastructure of the tourism industry, assesses the role of the state in the development of domestic tourism, and identifies growth prospects and necessary measures to enhance its competitiveness.
