Abstract

This study defines the importance of the “green” economy in the modern world. The key environmental issues that are an incentive for the transition to a “green” economy are considered. Its essence, principles and purpose are defined, on the basis of which the directions applied by the states for the transition to a “green” economy are studied. Its prospects in the near future are reflected.
