Abstract

In the modern economy, the competitiveness of economic entities is a determining factor for their prosperity and market stability. Organizations operate in a permanently changing macro and micro environment, including the volatility of consumer demand, fluctuations in resource prices and increased interfirm competition. This study is devoted to the analysis of competitive positions of agrarian enterprises of Krasnodar territory, namely JSC «Rassvet» and LLC «Agrocomplex «Novokubansky». The study is problematic due to the observed decline in the profitability of these organizations while increasing the volume of revenues, which indicates the need to optimize the cost structure and implement advanced management techniques. Within the work, a multidimensional analysis of the current level of competitiveness of JSC «Rassvet» and LLC «Agrocomplex «Novokuban» was carried out using SWOT-analysis methodologies, PESTLE-analysis and Porter five forces analysis methodology. The objectives of the study are to identify key success factors and potential threats affecting business operations, develop a project for implementation of cost management systems, including assessment of required investments and forecasting of expected results, as well as an assessment of the feasibility of implementing the proposed project. The results of the analysis made it possible to evaluate the impact of cost management systems on competitiveness in a market environment, which is particularly relevant in conditions of economic instability.
