Abstract

This article examines the issues of demographic development and its relationship with the reproduction of human resources. The author concludes that demographic factors have a decisive influence on the process of reproduction of the country’s and region’s labor resources. The methods used by demography to study the patterns of population reproduction are considered. It is concluded that socio-demographic policy is one of the decisive directions that form the conditions for harmonious demographic behavior.
