Abstract
Industrial innovations play a key role in the modernization of the regional economy, having a significant impact on productivity growth, creation of new jobs and improvement of socio-economic indicators. The article considers how the introduction of new technologies in industry contributes to the economic development of the region, reducing dependence on traditional industries and stimulating the growth of related sectors. The main focus is on factors influencing innovation activity, such as government support, availability of a research base and attraction of private investment. The challenges that regions face in implementing innovation projects are also discussed, and ways to improve the innovation climate are proposed. It is predicted how industrial transformation will affect the employment structure and human capital development.
