Abstract
The implementation of mass sports and healthy lifestyle (HLS) programs is an important step in improving public health and reducing financial costs of healthcare. This article examines the financial and economic efficiency of implementing such programs, including through their impact on improving health, increasing labor productivity and reducing the cost of treating diseases associated with a sedentary lifestyle. An analysis of the economic benefits and costs, as well as the long-term effects of the implementation of mass sports and a healthy lifestyle within the framework of state and municipal initiatives is provided. It is expected that the results of the study will help in the formation of an effective state policy and strategy in the field of disease prevention and improving the quality of life of citizens.
