Abstract
The article discusses infrastructure investments in the development of regional economic systems with an emphasis on the classification features of such investments as strategic long-term investments. The aim of the work is to analyze the impact of infrastructure on the dynamics of gross regional product (GRP) and the labor market in the regions of Russia in the period from 2021 to 2023. Using statistical analysis and comparative research methods, the authors identify patterns indicating that adequate investments in infrastructure contribute to sustainable GRP growth and increased employment. The results of the study are of practical importance for government agencies and private investors, allowing them to optimize infrastructure development strategies depending on the level of socio-economic development of the regions.
