Abstract
This article examines the role of infrastructure support in the development of entrepreneurship in the digital economy, with a focus on the Russian context. The author analyzes four main types of infrastructure – digital, institutional, physical, and social – and their impact on entrepreneurial activity. The study demonstrates that high-quality infrastructure is a crucial factor for business growth in the digital era. The findings indicate that Russia’s well-developed digital infrastructure provides a foundation for digital entrepreneurship, yet constraints in the institutional environment and shortcomings in social and physical infrastructure hinder the sector’s full potential. The author concludes that a comprehensive approach to developing entrepreneurship infrastructure is needed. The article offers recommendations to reallocate resources of government programs based on international experience to enhance the effectiveness of infrastructure support for entrepreneurship and to achieve the target indicators of national projects.
