Abstract

The article analyzes the role of innovative technologies in the educational process as a factor in the development of Russian regions. Particular attention is paid to the adaptation of the educational content, teaching methods and educational infrastructure taking into account regional specifics. A comparative analysis of the implementation of innovative approaches in various types of regions – industrial, agro-industrial and tourist – was conducted. The research results show that a differentiated approach to the integration of innovations contributes to a significant increase in academic performance, career guidance and the effectiveness of regional infrastructure. The article considers active learning methods such as brainstorming, problem- based learning, tutoring, flipped learning, VR technologies and distance learning. Particular attention is paid to tutoring as a tool for supporting independent activities of students aimed at solving urgent problems of regional development. The need for a systematic approach to the implementation of innovations, including the modernization of content, the use of modern educational technologies and the development of infrastructure, is emphasized. The findings confirm that innovative technologies play a key role in training specialists who are able to work effectively taking into account the socio-economic and cultural characteristics of specific territories, which contributes to the sustainable development of regions.
