Abstract

Preservation and development of the Russian mechanical engineering industry is an important task for the country’s economy. Mechanical engineering is one of the key links in the Russian economy, forming about 9% of the country’s GDP and plays a central role in ensuring the technological process and high living standards. In the context of global economic changes and sanctions that have arisen in recent years, mechanical engineering faces a number of challenges, including the need to update technologies, find new markets and maintain competitiveness. The article examines strategies and directions that contribute to the preservation and enhancement of the competitiveness of the mechanical engineering sector.
