Abstract

The paper presents an analysis of Moscow’s urban development experience over the past three decades, with an emphasis on a critical assessment of the strategies implemented and identification of their strengths and weaknesses. Particular attention is paid to the activities of the Kievskaya Ploshad Group of Companies and its impact on the urban environment. Practical recommendations for the formation of urban development policy have been developed that will create a comfortable and modern city that promotes socio-economic development and preserves its uniqueness. The study is aimed at improving the efficiency of urban management and planning in order to ensure sustainable development of Moscow and improve living and business conditions. The results of the study can be used to amend urban development policy, develop new regulations and optimize city development processes.
