Abstract
The article evaluates the Bank of Russia policy in recent times. The presented data of the last decade show that this policy has not undergone significant changes in its base. The main emphasis is placed on the critical analysis of the regulator’s position and its arguments expressed at the official level. Reasoned doubts about the total “overheating” of the national economy and the possibility of reproducing investment activity at the required level are given. It is shown that without adjusting the monetary policy, the Russian economy will face a number of problems, the failure to solve which threatens to increase stagflation risks.
