Abstract

Industrial corporations created on the basis of business entities represent the organization of large-scale production activities, and, taking into account the inclusion of multi-industry enterprises in them, they are innovative structures of a full cycle for the implementation of innovative programs for the development of the Russian economy that are significant for the state.
In the work, to explain the main points of the study, a terminological apparatus is provided that represents both the views of the author and the main provisions of leading scientists regarding the object of study. The study analyzes theoretical approaches to the essence and content of the industrial ecosystem, identifies the main differences from other economic systems, and presents the author’s definition.
The work determines that in the domestic practice of functioning of industrial corporations, the following tools have received significant development: jointly initiated and implemented innovative projects and the creation of corporate financial centers. The position is substantiated that for the development of innovative activities, in the context of the functioning of the ecosystem, jointly initiated and implemented innovative projects of an industrial corporation are the most accessible tool.
The following tools are proposed for the joint implementation of innovative projects of industrial corporations: “technological scouting”, which is a search for available innovative technologies, digital technological solutions in the developed area, innovative projects that can improve the efficiency of activities or organize new business processes. The author proposes to implement these projects in two forms: “technological navigator” and “technological catalyst for innovation”.
Theoretical issues of the study of digital platforms, as an integrator of innovative activities, reflect the main directions of development of digital transformation processes of industrial corporations, presenting communication servers to various actors, online, transforming the structure of traditional spheres of the economy, forming new formats and new markets for their functioning.
