Abstract

This article is devoted to defining a conceptual model for creating and using a system for monitoring the development of investment activities of entities in the regional electric power industry. The relevance of forming a conceptual model for creating and using a system for monitoring the development of investment activities in the electric power industry is due to the problems of developing methodological foundations for managing investment activities of entities: difficulties in forming an information base for a system study of investment activities, a relatively high degree of uncertainty of technical and economic parameters of investment projects, and limitations in the practical application of the methodological apparatus to various aspects of the functioning of entities in the electric power industry. The purpose of the study is to identify a conceptual model for creating and using a system for monitoring the development of investment activities of entities in the regional electric power industry. Main results of the study: 1) reflects the elements of a conceptual model for creating and using a system for monitoring the development of investment activities in the regional electric power industry; 2) presents a methodology for studying the current state of investment activities in the regional electric power industry; 3) outlines the author's approach to classifying the current state of investment activities in the regional electric power industry based on indicative analysis. Research materials: statistical data of the largest regional electric power organizations of the Krasnodar Territory for the time period 2000-2024, socio-economic development of the Krasnodar Territory for the time period 2015-2024, on the volume of investment in the industries of the Krasnodar Territory for the time period 2018-2024. Research methods: systematization, comparative analysis, comparative analysis, analysis of statistical time series, generalization, economic and mathematical forecasting, abstract logical method, induction, deduction, systems approach to economic and investment analysis.
The main conclusions of the study:
1) the technological scheme of the conceptual model for the creation and use of a system for monitoring the development of investment activities of entities in the regional electric power industry contains four blocks: collection of primary information data from the public sector and industry corporations; creation of criteria for the development of investment activities of entities in the regional electric power industry; implementation of an indicative analysis of the development of investment activities; creation of measures to mitigate existing risks of investment activities. The effectiveness of the developed measures is identified using the scenario analysis method, which involves modeling the business and investment activities of entities in the electric power industry. At the same time, it is advisable to study, in addition to the key effects, related effects (environmental, social) in order to obtain a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of investment activities and measures to mitigate existing risks;
2) the provisions of the indicative analysis made it possible to create a system of parameters for studying the current state of investment activity in the regional electric power industry: energy, financial and economic, socio-ecological and production;
3) the levels of the current state of investment activity in the regional electric power industry were identified based on indicative analysis: normal (there are no risks or they have a weak impact on investment activity), pre-crisis (significant impact of risks), crisis (investment activity entities have little resistance to existing risks).
