Abstract
The digital twin technology is a tool for modeling, analyzing, and managing business processes based on the creation of virtual copies of physical objects, systems, and production environments. The relevance of using digital twins in corporate practice stems from the need to increase process adaptability, reduce transactional costs, and optimize resource allocation. The article discusses architectural and functional aspects of digital twins, their integration with enterprise management systems, and their application potential across various industries. Particular attention is paid to the systemic role of digital twins in logistics, production planning, and product lifecycle management, as well as institutional and technological constraints to scaling these solutions in real-world business environments.
