Abstract
This article is devoted to the Daur national art of Hanêka paper cutting as a valuable part of Chinese intangible cultural heritage. It provides examples of modern Hanêka dolls, considers the technologies of their creation, and classifies the two main directions of the development of this art. A special place in the article is given to the reconstruction and analysis of the modern process of inheritance and transmission of the national Daur paper cutting art. The study identifies significant difficulties and problems that currently exist in this process. A comprehensive analysis of the identified problems allows the authors to propose a model of protection and flexible inheritance of the art of Hanêka, including specific measures and actions for the protection of this traditional art and their implementation in practice. The study of the above-mentioned problems should promote the modern development of traditional paper cutting techniques not only in China, but also in other countries of the world, as well as to contribute to the preservation and promotion of the best achievements of the Daur folk culture.
