Abstract
Purpose. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the methodological foundations of the future teacher’s social responsibility
formation.
Methods: the analysis of the scientific, psychological and pedagogical literature; the reflection of domestic and own experience in the social
responsibility formation; the theoretical research data generalization.
Results: the features of the teacher’s social responsibility and the approaches to its formation as a personal quality that have developed
in educational practice are revealed; the patterns and principles of the social responsibility formation and its optimal conditions are
substantiated.
