Abstract
The relevance of the article is due to the modern reform of Chinese education, aimed at the development and implementation of its
nationally oriented model. Similar reforms are currently taking place in Russian higher education, which recently emerged from the Bologna
process. The reform process also extends to the professional training of students studying in the “Academic Vocal” direction, where it is
necessary to overcome the dominance of Western European traditions and significantly increase the role of national musical culture.
The goal is to highlight the scientific sources that form the basis of the author’s methodological system currently being developed for teaching
students the expressive performance of Chinese folk songs in the academic vocal class.
Research methods and methods. In the process of preparing the article, the method of analyzing scientific publications (monographs, materials
of scientific conferences, collections of scientific articles), as well as dissertations on the problems of vocal education in China and Russia, was
used. The author relied on the Russian Concept for the Development of Ethnocultural Education, analyzed works in the field of ethnocultural
and ethnoartistic pedagogy, and identified the ethnocultural contexts of educational programs and teaching aids developed by Russian and
Chinese vocal teachers. When developing the author’s methodological method, the methodology of pedagogical design of educational systems
was used.
Results. As a result of the study, theoretical and scientific-methodological sources for the development of an experimental methodological
system for teaching students the expressive performance of Chinese folk songs in the process of teaching them academic vocals at Jilin
Normal University (PRC) were revealed. This system consists of the corresponding module of the Vocal course program and its educational and
methodological support.
Scientific novelty. The need to increase the role of Chinese folk songs in the content of professional training of students studying in the
direction of “Academic Vocal” has been put forward and scientifically substantiated; a range of modern scientific sources has been identified
that can be applied in the pedagogical design of a methodological system for teaching students expressive performance of Chinese folk songs
in the academic vocal class.
Practical significance. The results of the analysis of modern scientific sources can be used for further research on the development of
ethnocultural and ethnoartistic orientation of professional vocal training of students in the direction of “Academic Vocal”.
