Abstract

Interactive teaching methods are used to increase the level of development of linguistic and communicative competencies in classes in Russian as a foreign language. The article deals with methods that are used at the initial stage of training. These are methods such as: Snowball, Carousel, List, Yes-no. The author successfully uses these methods in both face-to-face and distance learning.
The purpose of our work is to describe some interactive methods in the formation of speaking skills at the initial stage of teaching Russian as a foreign language.
Methodology and research techniques. The author of the article uses the inductive-deductive method of scientific knowledge and the following formal-logical methods and techniques of research: analysis, synthesis, abstraction, analogy and modeling – as a methodological basis.
Results. The creation of a methodology for developing speaking skills, which is successfully used at the initial stage of teaching Russian to foreign students, is the result of the study.
The scientific novelty lies in the description of interactive methods that the author uses at the initial stage of teaching speaking to foreign students. Based on work experience, examples of the use of some interactive methods are given that activate the learning process and make it more effective.
Practical significance. The described methods are recommended for use in classes on Russian as a foreign language at the initial stage of training.
