Abstract

The paper presents the results of experimental studies of the influence of environmental conditions on the microclimate of livestock buildings and, in turn, on the incidence and productivity of the animals contained in them.
In the course of research it was found that in the summer period at elevated temperature and humidity of the outside air, these indicators also increase in livestock buildings.
In the summer, bacterial contamination of the air of livestock buildings increases, which increases the bacterial load on animals. The incidence of calves with respiratory diseases compared with the spring period increased by 57,8%.
Analysis of the productivity of cattle in the spring and summer periods did not show a significant difference between this indicator. The highest increase in live weight in calves was recorded in July - 0,823 kg / day. Milk productivity tends to increase in the summer, the peak milk production was recorded in June - 22,3 kg.
