Abstract

The article highlights the historical-geographical and epizootological aspects of the appearance of circovirus infection of pigs, the stages of its study and distribution. Information is provided on the current epizootological situation abroad and in the Russian Federation. The questions of diagnosis of the disease, clinical and pathological anatomical manifestations are reflected. In modern pig breeding, the issues of complex diagnosis of pig diseases remain important, especially for circovirus infection. This disease has various symptoms and is accompanied by high mortality among piglets of an early period of growing. The asymptomatic manifestation of the disease in an adult livestock aggravates the epizootic situation not only inside the herd, but also when animals move between different regions of the country. Type 2015 pig circovirus discovered in 3 indicates its evolutionary path of development, which is especially relevant for molecular biological, immunological, epizootological and pathomorphological studies.
