Abstract

The results of laboratory tests of Chlortab, conducted on test surfaces made of stainless steel, tile and metal tiles, wood, concrete, are presented. Museum cultures of E. coli (pcs. 1257), Staphylococcus aureus (pcs. 209P), mycobacteria (pcs. B-5), B. cereus (pcs. 96) were used as test microorganisms. In the course of the experiments, disinfection modes (concentration, exposure, disinfectant consumption) were established for disinfecting smooth and rough surfaces. At the same time, effective disinfection of test surfaces of all types contaminated with E. coli and S. aureus was established when processing with a 0,7% solution at the rate of 0,5 l / m2 for 1 and 3 hours of exposure, respectively. For disinfection of test surfaces contaminated with mycobacteria (pcs. B-5), a single irrigation with a 3% solution was required at 24 hours exposure, and B. cereus spores (pcs. 96) required a double treatment with a 5,0% solution of calculation of 0,5 l / m2 at an exposure of 24 hours.
