Abstract

The article discusses the influence of the Ormik feed additive, consisting of organic acids (formic, lactic, phosphoric, acetic) and diatomaceous crumbs as a filler, introduced into concentrated feeds, on the resistance and microbiocenosis of the contents of the rectum of pigs. Determination of the phagocytic activity of blood serum showed that the use of a feed additive with organic acids increased resistance by 13,3% compared with the control. In pigs of the experimental group receiving the feed additive “Ormic” in the amount of 3 g / kg of feed, the number of lactic acid microorganisms in the contents of the rectum was higher than in the control, almost 2 times with a lower relative content of streptococci and with the complete elimination of fungi of the genus Candida
