Abstract

The article highlights the distribution of trichinosis among farm and wild animals: pigs, wild boars, horses, bears, other omnivores, carnivores (badgers, nutria, wolves, foxes, minks, dogs, cats, etc.), marine mammals (whales, walruses, seals), rodents, insectivores, etc. The general information on the causative agents of trichinosis of animals, humans and information on the resistance of trichinella to physical factors are given, as well as preventive measures for trichinosis.
