Abstract

The purpose of the work is to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of probiotic biological product "Living bacteria" for feeding bees in the winter. Studies were carried out on honeybees of the Central Russian breed in private apiaries in the Moscow and Pskov regions. In bees from experimental families fed with probiotic, the intestinal walls were elastic, the intestinal tract was easily and completely removed, and the excrement was dense and uniform. In bees from control families, the intestines were filled with liquid excrement, its walls were loose. After application of the probiotic in bees, the processes of digestion and evacuation of intestinal contents improved, the content of undigested pollen, detritus, and opportunistic bacteria decreased in feces. Survival of bees in the winter has increased.
