Abstract

The article presents the methods used in the territory of the Russian Federation to control the residual quantities of such drugs as antibacterial, coccidiostatics, growth stimulants and other drugs that can be used as feeds, as functional additives and can be found in animal slaughter products. Residual quantities of such substances are unacceptable or are regulated by Russian law, have MDL (maximum permissible levels). There are various groups of methods used in the Russian Federation to identify drugs of these groups, from microbiological to biosensory, each of which has both advantages and disadvantages, which are briefly highlighted in a comparative aspect.
