Abstract

The article presents the results of laboratory experiments to determine the biological value and possible toxicity of meat and liver of patients with echinococcosis and alveococcosis of pigs using Tetrachimen culture pyrimiformis (strain WH14). It was shown that methods for determining toxicity and biological value at Tetrachimen infusoria are not indicative in assessing the quality of meat of animals invaded by alveococcus and echinococcus.
