Abstract
The problem of prevention and treatment of limb diseases in cattle is still relevant. The incidence of animals in herds with lesions hooves is at the level of 20 ... 25%, and according to some reports reaches 35 ... 40%. The development of safe and effective means and methods for the prevention of diseases of the distal extremities of cattle is of great veterinary and economic and economic importance for cattle breeding. Studies show that running cows to prevent hoof diseases through hoof baths filled with a foam solution with a concentration of 10% EMC-Y type A and 10% copper sulfate inhibits the spread of the disease in the herd, but to increase the preventive effect, of course, it is necessary to conduct regular inspection, timely clearing and trimming of hooves, and if sick animals are detected, isolate and treat them immediately.
