Abstract

Mathematical model of the transfer of lead from the gastrointestinal tract into the peripheral blood of sheep under chronic intake with the ration is presented. The model is parameterized on the basis of its own experimental data and satisfactorily describes the changes in the lead content in different parts of the gastrointestinal tract and peripheral blood of sheep. It is shown that the constants of the rate of transfer of lead depend on the level of metal in the ration and the duration of intake.
